Job Description
If we have to manually repeat the same test every release, we're doing something wrong.
ErthDev is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help us build confidence into our delivery process.
You'll work at the intersection of software engineering and quality engineering, creating automation that helps teams move faster without sacrificing confidence.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain automated test suites.
- Build reliable UI, API, integration, and regression tests.
- Identify scenarios that should be automated and those that should remain exploratory.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate flaky tests and improve test reliability.
- Work with developers to improve testability.
- Analyze failures and distinguish application defects from infrastructure or test issues.
- Contribute to test strategy and quality standards.
- Monitor automated test results and identify recurring problems.
- Participate in architecture and requirements discussions where quality considerations matter.
Our approach
Automation isn't about achieving the biggest possible test count.
It's about creating useful feedback.
We want tests that are:

What you'll get

- Flexible working hours with collaboration overlap
- Cairo office access when needed
- Paid annual leave and sick leave
- Performance bonuses and annual salary reviews
